Kathy’s Home in Pua accepts children from 13 to 18 years and sees them through their high school years.
Currently, a Kathy’s Home dormitory is being built in Chang Mai for graduates from Pua who want to go on to college.
However, there is a lack of care for the 5 – 12 year olds who are often left in their villages to fend for themselves while their parents are away working as migrant farm laborers.
Pastor Jehr in Namtoaung Village on the Thai/Laos border wants to address this need, and we are making plans to build a Kathy’s Home facility in the village where 5 – 12 year olds can receive care and an education also.
